Small Snacks for Small Hands

With school starting up again, it's time to get back into our fall routines. Often, kids come home from school ravenous and go straight for the chips or cookies. Here are some healthy snacks that you can put together for them, using the Cupture Small Cups: designed specifically to be durable enough for kids rough handling.

For a super simple after school snack fill up the Small Cups with trail mix, Cheez-Its, or blueberries. Kids will be more likely to limit their portions and what they're snacking on if there is food already set out and easily accessed.

Before the kids come home, whip up some healthy fruit smoothies and stick them in the freezer. Kids can grab these refreshing treats as soon as they get home. Fruit smoothies are not only super nutritious and full of antioxidants, but will also give them that (all natural) sugar kick that they are searching for after a long and draining day of school.

Even better, fill your Small Cups up with some veggies for the kids to share. Snacks like celery, carrots, and broccoli are all filling and nutritious and easy to put together. Add some ranch in a different cup for dipping and put it in the middle to entice them to eat their veggies. For extra incentive, fill a cup with some skittles or cookies and tell them when they finish their veggies they can eat the sweets.

While the kids are snacking, feel free to whip up some strawberry margaritas for yourself. When all the other moms come over during play dates, they will definitely be grateful for the much needed drink. We all know child-rearing can be hectic, so take a little time for yourself with these delicious mojitos. Everyone will be totally impressed at your food prep skills and will be dying to know where you got such versatile cups that are both child and adult friendly.

Most importantly, make sure you keep cups on hand for water! Keeping kids (and yourself) hydrated is the best way to ensure a healthy and happy life.
