The abundant content which markets Valentines Day can sometimes feel like relationship propaganda. Ads usually encourage or exploit romantic obligation for both new and not so new couples. In the past few years alternatives to the standardized v-day celebrations have gained popularity. People are using the day to celebrate all kinds of love, romantic or otherwise, and are stepping away from the more commercial traditions. Our favorite happens to be Galentines Day!
