Step 1: Gather all necessary materials.

• Cupture Small Cup or Pot

- The size of your pot or cup is dependent on the plant you are using. Remember, you can start off small and re-pot them later. Our Small Cups might do the trick for you!

• Gravel and Soil

- If you can’t gather soil from around your house, you can try a local gardening or hardware store. They usually sell them in bulk and gravel, too!

• Succulent

- Besides gardening or hardware stores, you can also find succulents at local farmers markets (which we totally recommend).

• Water

- Plants need food, too! Take some time to discuss how important water (and sunlight) is to plants with your children so they get a better understanding of how plants surive.

Step 2: Drill a hole or use gravel.

Drill some holes at the bottom of your cup for water to drain (succulents don’t like to sit in water). If you don't want to damage your cups, fill the bottom layer of the cup with gravel to create a barrier between the roots and the excess water.  

Step 3: Pour soil into the cup or pot.

Fill the cup with potting soil up to an inch or two below the top of the cup, you can use soil specifically made for succulents or you can use quick draining soil.  

Step 4: Plant your succulent!

If the plant is small enough, you can plant multiple succulents in the cup but make sure you consider the aesthetic of the plants before you plant. Make sure the cup is not overcrowded, and that the soil is packed loosely, but still enough that it won't tip over if touched.  

Step 5: Water your succulent and give it light.

Succulents prefer warm conditions and prefer direct sun but can adjust to lower lighted environments. Allow the soil to dry between watering.  

Step 6: Finished!

Enjoy your new succulent! Before you know it, you might even have your own succulent garden! Succulents are great for decorating, put some in a bathroom, or on a desk, give one to a coworker or a boss, and keep some as a centerpiece on a kitchen table.

STEP 1: Gather Your Ingredients

• Cups

- Clear or transparent cups work best so you can see all the layers of "dirt." Our favorite are the Everyday Tumblers which come in great Earth Day colors! They come in 2 different sizes you can accompany each pudding cup with a glass of milk to wash it all down.

• Chocolate Pudding

- Use premade pudding for a quick snack fix, or make your own! It can be a little messy, but it's totally worth it!

• Cookies

- Now this is how the cookie crumbles. You can use a mortar and pestle to crush the cookies into smaller bits and pieces, or use a spoon and bowl to break them down. Chocolate cookie crumbles will give the perfect "dirt" color and texture.

• Gummy Worms

- Sour or regular. Your pick! Here’s a joke for you to share with your kids… What do you call a worm who just lost his dentures? A gummy worm! (Friendly reminder to brush your teeth thoroughly after because this snack is sugary sweet.)

STEP 2: Put it all together!

Place a layer of pudding into your cup. Next, add a layer of the cookie crumbs. Each layer can be as thick or thin as you'd like! Feel free to add one or two gummy worms in between the layers for a hidden surprise! Keep adding layers of pudding and cookie crumbs until you reach the top of your cup. Once your cup is filled close to the brim, place several gummy worms so that they stick out of the “dirt.”

STEP 3: Enjoy

After all that work, now it’s time to dig in! This treat will have your kids excited about Earth Day! You might have had this yummy surprise in your younger days so why not pass it on to your kids? Hooray for Earth Day snacks!

PREPARE

There's no better way to energize and animate your party than with a little bit (or a lot) of wine. Have a speaker system set up with a back up!
We can't stress enough how important it is to have a speaker system that you know is going to work. You don't want to have all your guests over before you find out you have no way to play music! How many events or parties have you been to where the speaker did not work or you could barely hear the music? Here's what you'll need:
Mason Jars
Hot Glue Gun or Tape
Construction Paper
Scissors or Xacto knife
Buttons
Ribbons or fabric
Markers (Optional)

Beverages:
Milk or Eggnog
Cranberry Juice or Fruit Punch

STEP 1: PREPARE YOUR MATERIALS
The first step is to create the clothing for your Holiday Mason Jars! For the Snowman, all you would need are buttons and a piece of fabric or ribbon to fit as a scarf.

For a jolly Santa, we used construction paper to create a belt. Cut a piece of black construction paper in the shape of a long rectangle so that it can fully wrap around the mason jar. Then, cut another piece of construction paper in the shape of a square for his buckle.

For the Elf's outfit, we used both buttons and construction paper. Simply cut construction paper into two long rectangles so they can wrap around the mason jar. On one of the papers, cut a small triangle in the center to create a nice collar for the Elf.

STEP 2: PLACE THE MATERIALS ON THE MASON JARS
The best way to make sure the materials will remain on the mason jar is to use a glue gun! If you don't have one, that's not a problem! Tape will also do! Both of these methods should keep your holiday decorations on through the end of the year, but come off without damaging your mugs so you can continue to use them year round.

STEP 3: FINISHING TOUCHES
The next step is to add your own flair and decorate the clothing as you like! Maybe even write a loved one's name to add a personal touch. If you want to add more color, we highly recommend taking a peak at our own selection of mason jars! We have color variations for our 3-piece 20oz mason jars. STEP 4: PREPARE YOUR BEVERAGES
The final step is to pour your beverages into the respective mason jars. Milk or eggnog would be splendid drinks to make a frosty white snowman! As for the elf and Santa jars, cranberry juice or fruit punch would give a perfect blend of red for a warm winter coat!

This season we wanted to make little gifts for those closest to us out of our favorite Candy Tumblers! Aptly named, our Candy Tumblers are perfect for some DIY decorating and gifting. Once we have finished our crafting, we'll hopefully have some wonderfully cheery and delicious Holiday Candy Cups!

Things you'll need…

1. Cupture 16 oz Insert Template
2. Scissors
3. Cardstock or colored construction paper
4. Cupture Candy Tumblers or Cupture Classic Tumblers
5. Stickers
6. Sharpie
7. Pencil
8. Markers, paints, or any other supplies you might want to personalize your cup insert. 

Ideas to get you started...

• Santa
• Reindeer
• Snowflakes
• Christmas Tree
• Snowman
• Penguin

Instructions… 

1. First start by printing and cutting out the template sheet.

2. Trace template onto colored paper.

3. Cut out traced template shape.

4. Use paint, markers, colored pencils or cut paper to create perfect Christmas characters. Make sure all paint and glue is dry and cups have been washed and cleaned before putting your creation into your cup. 

*Keep in mind that your main design should only take up about a third of the template width to be seen from the front. We marked ours with stick notes, and lightly traced the space we wanted to fill in with pencil. You can use some the of the extra space to either name your cheery character, sign your artwork, or even create another Happy Holiday face for when you turn your cup around.

*You can also make a design that goes all the way around your tumbler, or one that uses cut out shapes to show off the candy inside.

5. Gently curl your paper insert to put it into your tumbler. The ends should overlap slightly for it to fit all the way inside. Make sure the top of your insert goes down past the threading at the mouth of your cup before replacing the lid.

Once you have finished decorating your cups in all of their Christmas glory, fill them with your favorite kinds of candy to give as little presents for anyone you want to show a little extra love this season. Once they have run out of candy, they can take out the paper insert and they will have a completely usable Candy Tumbler that is perfect all year round! Start your Thanksgiving prep by sending out some Holiday themed invitations to your attendees. Once you have your RSVP list, you can start buying the essentials for the dinner setting.

This season we wanted to make little gifts for those closest to us out of our favorite Candy Tumblers! Aptly named, our Candy Tumblers are perfect for some DIY decorating and gifting. Once we have finished our crafting, we'll hopefully have some wonderfully spooky and delicious Halloween Candy Cups!

Things you'll need…

1. Cupture 16 oz Insert Template
2. Scissors
3. Cardstock or colored construction paper
4. Cupture Candy Tumblers or Cupture Classic Tumblers
5. Stickers
6. Sharpie
7. Pencil
8. Markers, paints, or any other supplies you might want to personalize your cup insert. 

Ideas to get you started...

Instructions… 

1. First start by printing and cutting out the template sheet.

2. Trace template onto colored paper.

3. Cut out traced template shape.

4. Use paint, markers, colored pencils or cut paper to create perfect Halloween creatures. Make sure all paint and glue is dry and cups have been washed and cleaned before putting your creation into your cup. 

*Keep in mind that your main design should only take up about a third of the template width to be seen from the front. We marked ours with stick notes, and lightly traced the space we wanted to fill in with pencil. You can use some the of the extra space to either name your creepy crawly, sign your artwork, or even create another Spooktacular face for when you turn your cup around.

*You can also make a design that goes all the way around your tumbler, or one that uses cut out shapes to show off the candy inside.

5. Gently curl your paper insert to put it into your tumbler. The ends should overlap slightly for it to fit all the way inside. Make sure the top of your insert goes down past the threading at the mouth of your cup before replacing the lid.

Once you have finished decorating your cups in all of their Halloween glory fill them with your favorite kinds of candy to give as little presents for anyone you want to show a little extra love this season. Once they have run out of candy, they can take out the paper insert and they will have a completely usable Candy Tumbler that is perfect all year round! For all of our Acrylic made tumblers, such as our Crystal Tumblers or our Candy Tumblers, we always recommend handwashing them. Our stainless steel products are top-rack dishwasher safe, however if you want to ensure the longevity of your products we always recommend hand-washing everything.

• To wash by hand, soak the lid for 10 minutes in warm soapy water.
• Hand-wash the body with warm water and a mild detergent
• Make sure to only use the soft side of the sponge as the rough side could potentially scratch your tumbler.
• For best results, store the tumbler with the lid removed to allow both pieces to properly dry. (*Note: Some of our products have multiple pieces that must dry. Please sepearate all pieces of the product for both washing and drying.)

• Note: If you do choose to clean your Cupture products in the dishwasher, please place them on the top-rack of the dishwasher to ensure the safety of your products. We recommend checking the temperature of your dishwasher and keep it around 120°F or on the low setting to ensure your products do not warp from the hot water.

Straws

For your convenience, our straws come with a complimentary cleaning brush.

• Our complimentary cleaning brush was specifically desgined to optimize the cleanliness of the Cupture Straws, so we hope that you will take full advantage of them.
• Our straws can be put in the dishwasher, however for best results we recommend cleaning your straw with warm soapy water and with the cleaning brush provided.
• Note: Our straws can be cut down for your convenience with a strong pair of scissors if you would like to customize your products.

Lid Tips

The majority of our prodcts come with a gasket within the lid. If you feel it is necessary, you are able to take the gasket out to clean.

• This gasket can come dislodged during washing either by hand or in the dishwasher. If you notice your lid leaking, but see no cracks, or if the lid won't fit on the cup right, a displaced gasket could be the source of the issue.
•  To fix, use a toothpick or something similar to gently press the gasket back into the lid. Make sure to press the gasket in all the way around the circumference of the lid, to ensure that it is placed correctly.
• Note: You can purchase replacement lids for your Classic or Candy Tumblers here.

A brief history…

One of the coolest things about tea, is that a lot of the herbs used in tea actually have medicinal properties.

• Sleepy time tea's primary ingredient is chamomile: a herb best used for aiding sleep, headaches and anxiety.

Brewing

There are multiple ways to brew tea.

• There are more traditional methods such as buying tea bags from the local market and steeping them in hot water, however, you can also invest in some higher quality loose leaf tea.
• For loose leaf tea, you can purchase a diffuser, and use it the same way you would use a tea bag.
• You can also boil the loose leaf tea in a sauce pan on stove top. Once the water reaches a boil, turn the heat off and let the mixture steep for 10-20 minutes. This brewing method results in a stronger tea.
• You can also try Solar Infusion. Sun Tea is awesome for summertime when the days are so warm and long, for this method all you do is add your herbs to a jar of water and let them sit in a warm, sunny spot for several hours. This provides a warm, and energetically vibrant tea that is perfect during those long summer days.
• Another option that is not as well-known is a Lunar Infusion. This is the same process as a solar infusion, but instead, wait for a full moon or a new moon for this preparation; this adds a different sort of energy to your tea that you can't get through any other brewing method.

There are many benefits to the Peace Corps, including priority government jobs and loan forgiveness, but the biggest benefit is the opportunity to make a difference. Many of the countries are considered "third world" so water can be an obstacle, but that’s where the travel mug makes all the difference. WWOOF
WWOOF organizations is primarily an agricultural volunteer program. Their program connects volunteers with farms all over the world. Work Away
Work Away is similar to WWOOF, but allows for more expansive volunteering opportunities than just organic farming. For example, you can spend a few months in Hawaii working at a beachfront hostel, or help out a property in Ireland and learn about carriage building. Work Away caters to all strengths and abilities and guaranteed you will find multiple volunteer opportunities that will make you purchase your ticket and pack up you Cupture Travel Mug as fast as possible.

Visit.org
Visit.org is an interesting opportunity that combines tourism with volunteerism. Their company provides tours that connect with the area that you are touring. Tour profits go straight back into the communities. The goal of this company is to get a deeper experience through tourism, finding tours that really connect with the community instead of in a more general touristy way.

 1. Blue Shark Attack

This is not a cocktail you come across everyday. This unique cocktail will make you think you are in a classy beach bar as opposed to at home in your backyard daydreaming about far away beaches.

Ingredients

• 50 ml mini bottle of blue curacao
• 2 shots of silver rum
• 1¼ cups of pineapple juice
• 3 to 4 blue gummy sharks

Directions

1. In a 14oz. Diamond Tumbler, add ice and pineapple juice. Add in gummy sharks.
2. Add in the two shots of rum and blue curacao. Stir and serve in the Diamond Tumblers.

2. Lavender Hard Lemonade

Lemonade is possibly the most popular beverage during the summer for good reason. This classic drink is perfect for the sweltering heat, and sugary enough to keep you energized during the long summer days. This lavender hard lemonade is both easy and delicious. Perfect for when you don’t want to waste your tanning time to prepare your cocktail.

Ingredients

• Organic Lemonade
• Lavender Essential Oil (Pure Therapeutic Grade)
• Honey Whiskey
• Red & Blue Food Coloring (Optional)

Directions

1. Fill pitcher with Organic Lemonade.
2. Add 3 tablespoons of honey whiskey.
3. Mix in 2-4 drops of Lavender Essential Oil, (or to taste).
4. Make the cocktail purple by  adding 3-5 drops of both red and blue food coloring. Or, simply poor the cocktail in the Purple Amethyst Diamond Tumbler and call it a day.

*This makes a full pitcher of Lavender Hard Lemonade.

3. Southern Spiked Peach Iced Tea

Iced Tea is another summer staple. Nothing tastes quite as refreshing as an iced tea on a hot summer day. Once again, this recipe is a super simple and quick recipe, adding a pleasant twist to a lovely summer classic.

Ingredients

• Ice
• 2oz. Vodka
• 3oz. Peach Iced Tea
• 1/2 Peach, sliced
• 1/2 Lemon, sliced
• Fresh Mint for garnish

Directions

1. Fill a 14oz. Diamond Tumbler with ice.
2. For extra flavor add the sliced lemon and peach.
3. Add the vodka and tea, and garnish with mint. Enjoy!

 4. Pineapple Watermelon Sangria

This recipe is a fruity twist on a cocktail classic. Sangria is perfect for adding some fruits that are more seasonal, such as watermelon and pineapple. This recipe is made by the pitcher, but can be poured into the Diamond Tumblers to serve.

Ingredients

• 1 bottle Moscato wine (750 ml)
• 1/2 cup brandy
• 1 lime, thinly sliced
• 2 cup of watermelon, cubed and cold
• 2 cup of extra sweet pineapple, cubed and cold
• Lemon lime soda, for serving
• Ice cubes

Directions

1. Pour the wine and brandy into a pitcher and stir to combine. Add the sliced lime, watermelon, and pineapple.

2. To serve, place some of the fruit in a Diamond Tumbler with ice. Pour the sangria over the ice and top with lemon lime soda.

 5. Frozen Mango Margaritas

Margaritas are possibly the yummiest frozen treat available, especially with Mexican food, perfect to pair with chips and salsa or just on its own, this summer treat will have your friends begging for the recipe.

Ingredients

• 4 cups frozen unsweetened mango
• 2 cups ice cubes
• 1 cup silver tequila
• ¾ cup fresh orange juice
• ½ cup grand marnier
• Juices of 3 limes
• 2 tablespoons agave nectar
• Garnish the rim with chili lime seasoning (optional)

Directions

1. To a blender add, frozen mangos, ice cubes, tequila, orange juice, grand marnier, lime juice, and agave nectar. Blend until smooth and no chunks remain.
2. To coat the rim of the Diamond Tumbler. Add chili lime seasoning to a plate. Take a lime wedge and go around the rim to cover with lime juice then gently dab the lime rimmed glass in the seasoning. Pour mango margarita into Tumbler and garnish with a lime. Serve!

Bonus: Rosé Raspberry Sorbet Mimosa

Even though we have already given 5 super yummy summer cocktails, we couldn’t leave without this delicious mimosa! Sure mimosas are perfect on their own, or even switching it up to an appleosa, but this Sorbet Mimosa takes it to the next level and are perfect for summer brunches. Once again, this recipe is super simple with only two ingredients and serves as many people as you need it to.

Ingredients

• 1 pint of raspberry sorbet

• 1 bottle Rosé Champagne/sparkling wine

Directions

1. Add a scoop of sorbet to each Diamond Tumbler
2. Poor champagne over sorbet
3. Add fresh herbs such as rosemary or mint to garnish (optional)

The first step is deciding what kind of props you want to have at your booth. These can vary depending on the theme of the party. For example, if it was Halloween you might consider witches’ hats versus pacifiers which are more appropriate for a baby shower. Here is how we made our special photo booth.

Step 1: Pick out your straws
Make sure you choose bright and fun colors to add contrast to the photos. Luckily, all of Cupture’s Stripped Straws are super vibrant and perfect for the job.

Step 2: Cut out your Props
We browsed Pinterest for a while and downloaded a pack of props for free. It was super simple and there is a ton of variety to choose from.

Step 3: Tape your props to the straws
Double- sided tape will be strong enough to hold cardstock. Remember not to make the pieces too big or they’ll be visible in the photos.

Photo booth time!
Set up your back drop with a nice neutral color that will compliment everyone’s outfit. Think about your theme and how these color can be incorporated.

The calming properties of this wonder bean are also serve as a great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Paired with yummy citrus, this refreshing smoothie will keep your stress under control and prevent bloating.

Wednesday: Berry Banana Oat Smoothie
Possibly the most popular smoothie of all time, the berry banana smoothie is an essential on our list. This fun in the sun combo is the perfect reminder that the week is half way through and it won’t be long till the weekend. Adding in oats to this traditional recipe is a great way to sneak fiber into your diet. It’ll also keep you fuller for longer which is never a bad thing.

Thursday: Mint Smoothie with Chocolate
We know what you’re thinking – another chocolate smoothie? Yes, we love and care for you. Thursday’s are usually chill days. The craze of the week has started to subside and while new projects are developing your brain has some downtime to day dream of the ever so close weekend. Why not kick back with a colorful concoction as you plan out where to consume your weekend cocktails.

Friday: Banana Mango Avocado Green Smoothie
Otherwise known as ‘The Ultimate’, we’ve saved the best for last. Friyay is a joyous time of deadlines and early afternoons. As the weekend approaches, hour by hour, it’s hard not to think about all the fun plans set up for the next two days. For example, going to Vegas for a birthday party or binge watching the new season of Orange is the New Black, it’s all very exciting stuff. Beer Basics

Ale vs. Lager (dark vs. light)

There are two main types of beer; Ale and Lager. Lagers are lighter beers while ales are darker. What does this mean? The lagers lighter complexion means it most likely to be a brighter or lighter beer. Ales on the other hand are darker and have more complex flavors.

There are several differences in the brewing process that distinguish the unique flavors of these two beer styles. These differences include:

> Yeast
Ales are brewed with “top-fermenting” yeast and lagers contrastingly are brewed with “low-fermenting” yeast. Depending on the strain of the “top-fermenting” yeast, it can produce chemicals that affect the flavor of the beer.

>Temperature and Time
Ales tend to brew at warmer temperatures and for this reason they ferment faster. Lagers on the other hand are generally brewed at colder temperatures. This technique originated in Continental Europe where cooler temperatures were normal brewing conditions.

> Additional Custom Ingredients.
Also known as adjuncts, ales tend to be more diverse than lagers. Due to the fermentation process, it is easier to experiment with ales than it is to with lagers. Ales also have a more robust flavor compared to lagers because their recipes require a higher amount of hops and malt which make it more malty or bitter.

Yeast, Barely, Hops, and Water.

What makes a good beer?

Appearance
Performing a simple test will be able to give you insight into the quality of the beer. Swish the beer around in your beer tumbler. If the head (the foamy stuff at the top) leaves a rim on the glass that usually means you’ve made a good selection.

We’ve been noticing that a lot of people tend to stick to boring recipes. For example, infusing water with only lemon or mint. Grapefruit, Orange, and Cucumber
This fancy spa water is great for those of us that have a sweet tooth, which is great because unlike chocolate, this recipe naturally burns fat. While the orange and grapefruit sweeten the water the crispness of the cucumber balances the flavor pallet. It’s not only great for keeping off weight, it’s also a delicious option to serve at a party. The vibrant colors of the grapefruit and orange will look great in contrast to the cucumber and will make any pitcher look fabulous.

Blueberry Orange Infused Water
This yummy combo is also super healthy. It’s packed with antioxidants from the blueberries along with zinc and vitamin C. The health benefits don’t stop there – blueberries are super fruits! A great ingredient to add to this already wonderful fusion is cayenne pepper. It will help boost your metabolism which is a cornerstone in weight loss. You’ll want to serve this superstar chilled.

Grated ginger, cucumber, lemon, mint leaves 
If you’re body isn’t used to detox waters I would suggest easing into this recipe. It’s so tasty you’ll want to drink a lot at once, but remember, what goes in must come out. This concoction is the most complicated on the list but it is also the most effective. It will help cleanse your body and give you energy throughout the day. The bold flavors of ginger and mint compliment the sour citrus and highlight the refreshing kick of cucumber.

Blackberry and sage
Berries and herbs are a match made for infused water. When the sweet bitterness of the blackberry infuses with the calming flavor of sage you’ll be in paradise. Blackberries have very few calories compared to other fruits so this is an especially great alternative to high calorie juices. Blackberries are also filled with antioxidants which will give your body energy. The other half of this recipe is a Rosmarinus herb that helps calm your digestive system which is great for when you feel bloated.

Strawberry and Basil
This unlikely pair is great for multiple reasons. Strawberries are a great source of dietary fiber and a ton of other vitamins. Paired with basil, which has very few calories and is a great anti-inflammatory, this fusion is perfect for improving your digestive regularity without having to eat a bunch of boring fiber.  

It is a common misconception that iced coffee is simply leftover coffee poured over ice. This technique waters down the flavor as the ice melts. Not only is the flavor diluted, you also won’t get the caffeine kick you’re brain is craving. Coffee experts agree that the best way to make iced coffee is by cold brew. Some recipes can get complicated and there is definitely an expansive and expensive market for iced coffee machinery, however, there is an easier way. Cupture’s three step system will yield a great cup of cold brew every time.

What you’ll need

• French press
• Coffee grounds of your choice
• Room temperature water
• 24oz Tumbler
• Cream / Sugar (optional)

The strength of the coffee depends on the water-grounds ratio. If you prefer a lighter roast the suggested ratio is 1:16 . For a more robust flavor experts recommend 1:4. If you enjoy a glass of bold iced coffee you should use the 1:2 ratio.

If you don’t have a French Press almost any other container will work. You’ll just have to get creative when it comes time to strain your brew. French presses are designed for this exact function so if you have one use it!

Depending on your unique flavor palate add as much cream and sugar as you would to a hot cup of coffee. If you prefer a moderate amount of cream (or more) serving your coffee in our double insulated 24oz tumbler is especially ideal. Phase One: What the Heck is Happening
The first step is visualizing what you want your party to look like. Generally, the theme for Memorial Day Weekend is 'America' but this doesn't mean you're limited to red, white, and blue. We often spend a lot more money than we need to by over thinking things. Here is what to ask yourself when starting to plan a budget.

• How many people will you be entertaining?

• How long do you want the party to last?

• What do you want to serve - full course meal or just appetizers and cocktails?

• Who are your guests - do they drink alcohol, will there be children, etc?

• What is your theme?

• How much are you really willing to spend?

Phase Two: The Prep Step
Phase two is probably the most important phase. The more you are able to prepare beforehand, the less you'll end up having to do at the actual party. You want to serve items that are easy to cook and don't require a lot of clean up. The most efficient method, especially if BBQ is involved, is to have a buffet table where your guests can graze as they please. It's less pressure for the host and allows for a more a natural flow of the party. Here are some suggestions for easy prep-and-serve party food taken from our 'Summer Ready' Pinterest Page.

Drinks
If you plan on entertaining upwards of seven guests we suggest making punch and putting bottles of beer/ cans of soda on ice. If you'd like to class it up a bit you can offer different teas or sparkling punch. If you are chilling bottles and cans outside try this hack. Instead of using ice cubes, fill large water balloons and freeze them. Not only are they festive, they'll keep your drinks colder for longer! This trick not only saves money and water but it also a great way to eliminate still water which will attract a lot of bugs. Here are some drinks recipes we think you'll love!

Phase Three: Decorate
The key to decorating is to only stick to the essentials. For example, you won't need a lot of wall decorations if your tables are already full of color. Let's start there.

Tables: Utilize Standing Cocktail Tables
The best thing about outdoor entertainment is that it's outdoors! However, this might be a little tricky if you don't have much patio furniture. The solution is to set up your area so that it looks like a lot is going on even though there's not. A great way to do this is to use standing cocktail tables instead of long tables. If you're renting tables it will also save you money not having to rent chairs. Standing tables are a great way for guests to get to know one another as they intimately talk around a smaller table rather than silently wait their turn to speak at a long table. Drape almost any sized table cloth over the top and it will look great. Here are some examples we love.

Seating: Scatter Cushions
A unique and cost saving idea for additional seating is throwing cushions on stacked pallets or simply on the floor. This may sound a little odd but look at how cute they are! If you like the raised features of pallets they are fairly inexpensive and warehouses usually give them away for free on Craigslist. A great way to utilize pallets is to spray paint them to fit your theme.

Plates / Napkins: It's All About Count & Color
Decide what color the table tops are going to be. Then choose a complimentary color for the plates and another for the napkins. For example, if the tablecloths are red, the plates can be blue and the napkins white or vice versa. Buy enough plates and napkins so that everyone you accounted for has at least three of each. If there will be kids attending make sure everyone has at least four of each.

Utensils: Go Simple or Swanky
The key to entertaining is creating the smallest mess possible. After your guests eat, you'll want them to be able to throw away their plates in the trash instead of your sink. Disposable products are perfect. You'll want to purchase utensils that match your tables, and remember, you can never go wrong with clear. If you'd like to take it a step further you can wrap the utensils in a napkin and tie it with a ribbon. It will add elegance to your buffet table and make it easier for guests to carry everything to the dining area.

However, the reality is that people always forget where they leave their cups and grab another as soon as they feel thirsty. 1. Get into a routine

Also waking up right before you work (giving yourself less time to get ready) is horrible for your brain. The stress actually ends up tiring you out and will make you more prone to stress throughout the day.

Leisure Time
It might seem counter-intuitive but you'd be surprised how much time we waste by not accounting for our free time. For example, don't feel obligated to get through your Netflix Que in one night. If you go out a lot after work with friends try to cut it down to a couple times a week. Time will start to thin when you're trying to stick to a routine. Evaluate how you spend your time and sacrifice the stuff that isn't helping you become a better person. It will center you and make more room for not just working out but also sleep, eating, and you time!

Cooking / Meal Prepping
Not eating out means more time in the kitchen but think of it as a chance to be creative (more on this later). If you have more time in the evening, meal prep then so you don't have to do anything in the morning except remember to take it out of the fridge. Likewise, if you have more time in the morning, meal prep then. Try to set a day of the week aside to go to the grocery store. This way you not only build a consistent schedule but you also won't run out of food and have to eat out.

 2. Clean eating
Don't like fruits and veggies? Get a bland taste in your mouth when you think of 'eating healthy'? We're 99% sure a proper introduction has yet to be made. Sure steamed broccoli sounds boring but how about sauteed broccoli in a signature sauce on a bed of brown rice infused with corn and cilantro? Yeah, our mouth is watering too. Not good at cooking? No problem, that's what the internet is for. From boiling water to baking a chocolate German cake you'll be able to find a tutorial. Sound like a lot of work? Think of it this way, when you heat up your lunch the next day at work and your co-workers are eating their fast-food with their heads down you will be consuming a yummy, healthy, and less expensive meal. Not that being healthy should be a competition but the recognition doesn't hurt. Not to mention you'll have less calories to burn and more energy to expend.

3. Drink a lot of water
Drinking water naturally helps your body lose weight. You'll see major changes if you use it to replace soda and any other sugary drinks. Water helps flush out our systems. Our bodies retain less salt which means less uncomfortable bloatedness.

4. Be Realistic & Pace Yourself
Many people want to see quick results and it makes sense. When you just start off you're putting in 300% more effort so you'd like to see your body work for you like your working for it. Unfortunately, that's not how works. This is why people get discouraged. Another thing to remember is to start slow. If you don't start with workouts that fit in your schedule you're setting yourself up to not do them. Start off where you feel comfortable. Tone down the intensity and focus on your form. This will help out with your confidence as you get acclimated to the world of fitness.

5. You Don't Have To Do It Alone
Taking these steps is hard but it's worth it. It's not just about looking better its also about feeling better! Don't think of it as a sacrifice but rather an opportunity to be productive. All day we work our butts off and it's nice to do something for ourselves. Find a friend to help you through it. Whether you work out or work on recipes together you'll be motivating each other and keeping one another accountable.

6. Track progress
Be sure to not only track the pounds your losing but also how much your sleeping and what you're eating. No need to be obsessive but you want to be able to identify the little victories. For example, if you're getting more sleep give yourself some recognition for that! Likewise, if you created three new tasty dishes you should be proud of your new culinary skills. It's all about self-love and becoming a better you! Weight is just a number; discipline, creativity, and self-sufficiency are the qualities that will continue to motivate you through the hard times.  

What is Moscato?

Cupture Presents the Portable Hydration Station
We know a huge staple of office life is coffee! Where would the world be without it? For this reason, we've included some Starbucks instant coffee packets. All you have to do is add hot water and you got yourself a great cup of coffee. We've also included some pink lemonade Crystal Light packets to compliment our Crystal Tumbler for the sips in between caffeine.

What You'll Need to Get The Look

• Crafting scissors (we used these ones)

• Crystal Light packets (pink lemonade)

• Starbucks instant coffee (Columbia Roast)

• Sharpie Pens

• White Card Stock

• Hole Puncher

• Twine or some sort of thread

• Pink Rose Crystal Tumbler

STEP 1:
Using the crafting scissors, cut the card stock in squares, rectangles, or circles. If you'd like to leave a thoughtful note we suggest practicing before you cut so you'll know how much space is needed.

STEP 2:
Choose your pen colors and tell your staff how you feel! If you aren't impressed with your own handwriting you can use a stencil. Find a font you like online (Etsy & Pinterest are a great starting point), print your message, place it under the card stock and trace!

STEP 3:
Fill the Crystal Tumbler with the drink packets. If you'd like to show a little more appreciation you can mix in some candies, jewelry, gift certificates, or even concert tickets.

STEP 4:
Insert the straw through the lid and screw on the tumbler.

STEP 5:
Hole punch the card stock above your message. Feed the ends of your twine through the hole, leaving a space large enough to fit around the lid.

STEP 6:
Place the string around the base of the lid and tighten until the twine is hugging the tumbler. Once in place, tie the twine in a bow.

How did Earth Day Start?
Earth day was initiated in the 1970's when counter-culture activism was increasingly prominent. Senator Gaylord Nelson is often credited as the founder of Earth Day. In 1969, after a particularly horrible oil spill in Santa Barbara, he proposed to allocate a day for environmental education in efforts to promote awareness and sustainability. This day of recognition was an effort to demand that politicians and policy makers take action against the increasing climate issues caused by massive industrial production. Senator Nelson was infamously inspired by anti-war demonstrations facilitated by college students and called for a similarly structured rally. It proved to be extremely successful with more than 20 million Americans participating around the nation. Capitalizing on the event's big win, Denis Hayes founded the Earth Day Network in 1970 at a peace conference which took the concept to a global level.

How can you celebrate Earth Day 2016?
The most common way Earth Day is celebrated is by planting trees. Other great ways to celebrate include talking with friends about Climate Change and pollution. Take time to reflect on what we can do at an individual level to reduce our carbon footprint. For example, stop using disposable products and load up on items like the Crystal Tumbler which are designed for long-term use. Save on natural resources; take a shorter shower, turn off your lights, and don't use too much gas. Join a volunteer group that helps clean up trash. Cupture headquarters has recently been gifted a fancy espresso machine and we have been drinking an unholy amount of cappuccinos, macchiatos, and lattes. Our particular machine, the Impressa f8, is made by Jura and is a dream boat. The only downside is if you want to make any drink that requires milk, it also requires a fancy little milk container which of course is sold separately. The espresso excitement did not permit for any wasted time so we improvised and came up with a whole new use for our Crystal Tumbler.

We filled the crystal with organic milk and placed the milk frothing tube in the tumbler. The volume of the crystal allows for multiple people to make a frothy drink without having to constantly refill it. The click and lock seal also makes it great for pouring additional milk in plain coffee like a cream dispenser. The crystal also happens to be double insulated which keeps the milk cooler than an ordinary cup. The best part of using the crystal in this way is that we can easily store leftover milk in the fridge because the seal will keep it fresh. Without having the entire milk gallon on the counter, it also saves space.

If cappuccinos aren't your thing and you like to drink plain coffee the crystal can also hold 22oz of sweet caffeine juice which you can easily transport anywhere.  

More often than not, it's our closets and cupboards that collect the most clutter. Cupture is here to help with the latter. Before you toss all your cups think of how you can re-purpose them. For example, if there is a small crack in one of your cups, but it is still presentable, think about using it as a form of storage. Using mason mug tumblers is a great way to quickly measure out a healthy portion without having to really measure anything. 6 Black Tea Bags

1/3 Blueberry preserves

1 Small box of blueberries

1 Small carton of peach juice

Directions

1. In a pitcher combine the tea bags with 6 cups of cold water.

2. Cover and steep overnight in the refrigerator.

3. Remove the tea bags from the pitcher.

4. Press the preserves through a fine strainer to produce ¼ cup of thick blueberry juice and dispose of the solids.

5. Stir the juice into the chilled iced tea. Refrigerate again until serving.

Serving

1. Fill cups with ice and sprinkle blueberries on top so they fall in between the ice cubes.

2. Pour the blueberry iced tea into the cups and fill ¾ of the way.

3. Pour a splash of peach juice (to taste) to create an aesthetic gradient.

4. Serve!

This is a bit of an elusive definition because it doesn't really explain what it takes to be environmentally sustainable. There is a lot of information out there explaining how we pollute the environment but not a lot of solutions. For example The Huffington Post recently commented on five factors that have a major impact on carbon footprint. They include where you live, what you eat, how you commute, how you invest, and who you vote for, however, some of this commentary is still abstract and doesn't really offer a daily solution to sustainability. According to the EPA (United Stated Environmental Protection Agency) there are five steps to sustainability to which Cupture would like to offer a daily solution.

First Step: Avoid
There is a lot of waste that can be avoided by taking simple steps that require just a little bit of planning. This might seem obvious but it is a simple fact that often becomes an afterthought. For example, bringing reusable bags to the grocery store eliminates the need to use plastic bags. Another simple step is making coffee at home and taking it on the go with our crystal sip and shake tumbler. Without stopping for your daily caffeine fix on the way to work, you reduce your carbon footprint by decreasing gas emissions and lower waste management by not using a disposable cup.

Second Step: Reduce
Similar to avoiding, this is a simple step that just takes a little planning. One benefit of disposable items is the convenience of clean up. This is an enticing incentive for people constantly on the go or those who are trying to plan an event. However, reducing doesn't necessarily cost the consumer convenience. Furthermore Missouri State encourages to “opt for Tupperware instead of zip-lock bags, reusable bags instead of disposable ones, reusable bottles, or a reusable cup for beverages instead of buying them in a bottle, can, or glass jar”.  The EPA illustrates the following as the biggest benefits of Reducing and Reusing:

• Decreases the amount of pollution as the demand to harvest new raw materials decreases.

• Saves energy!

• Creates a healthier global climate by reducing the amount of greenhouse gas emissions.

• Major factor in maintaining environmental sustainability.

• Saves money!

• Reduces the amount of waste that needs to be sent to landfills, incinerators, or recycled.

• Creates satisfied consumers as products are used to their fullest extent. 

Fourth Step: Recycle
Unlike a few years ago, this is actually a less desirable action. In order to maintain environmental sustainability the demand to recycle products needs to go down. The energy and materials it takes to recycle is actually contradictory to the purpose of sustainability. It is not all together bad and actually does help eliminate landfill waste. Cupture as a conscious company is aware of this environmental issue which is why a percentage of our products are made from recycled materials. All of our products are FDA approved and BPA free.

Fifth Step: Disposable
This is obviously the last and final step. It is undesirable but at times unavoidable. The key is to dispose responsibly. Looking out for local e-waste events and recycling whenever possible is a great way to help reduce landfill waste.

Ingredients

• ½ Apple
• ½ Orange (plus more for garnish)
• 3 Tbsp of brown sugar
• 1/3 Cup of brandy
• ¾ Cup orange juice
• 1 (750 ml) Bottle of dry Spanish wine
• Ice to chill (1 cup)
• WINE TUMBLER 10 OZ, 8 PACK (MULTICOLOR)

Directions
Chop up the oranges and apples into 8 decent sized wedges. In a serving pitcher add sugar, brandy, and chopped fruit. Add the ice and then the wine, stir till sugar is dissolved. Lastly, add the orange juice to get a visually pleasing gradient. Serves 8.

Quick History
Way back in 200 BC the Romans conquered and colonized Spain. One aspect of colonization was the planting of red grapes which was used to make alcoholic fruit punches. The punches were named Sangria, translating to 'blood', symbolizing the drink's color and the cost of colonization.

Fast forward to New York City in 1964 and you have the introduction of Sangria to the United States. The Spanish World area at The World Fair that year served Sangria and it has since become one of the most popular drinks in America.  

What you'll need

Step One:
Cut (6) 12 inch pieces of string.

Step Two:
Pair mini shots and soda with the colored cup.

Step Three:
Tie string around the rim of the cup.

Step Four:
Make another knot, but before you tie it all way, place the straw inside the knot. Finish tying the knot so the straw is parallel to the cup.

Step Five:
Make another knot but do not tighten all the way. Similar to the straw, place the mini shot in the knot and tighten so it hangs parallel to the straw and cup.

Step Six:
Cut out your name tags.

Step Seven:
Hole punch a small hole at the top of the name tags if they don't already have one.

Step Eight:
Feed both ends of the remaining string through the hole punch. Tie a bow and cut string to personal preference.

Step Nine:
Place corresponding soda can in bottle and screw on lid.

Step Ten:
Party time!

Step One:
Wash out the tumbler.

Step Two:
Layer the various candies inside the tumbler.

Final Step:
Screw on the lid with straw sticking out.
